Refusing to recite Pledge of Allegiance

An aboriginal American student was pulled out of class for refusing to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

The constitution defends a citizen's right not to recite that pledge.

The proper response to "My father fought in Vietnam and my husband fought in Afghanistan" is, "I am sure they wanted to serve their country. I deeply regret that politicians misused their loyalty."

Mannequin used to catch would-be killer

A mannequin presented to imitate a sleeping homeless person was used to catch someone who tried to kill the "person".

Using camera traps it should be possible to to catch people that steal homeless people's property. I have a hunch they will turn out to be people like this would-be killer, people that hate the homeless, rather than desperate people that want those goods.
