Some politicians say we need to remove the wrecker from office right away to stop him from wreaking more havoc as president.

That danger may be real. On the other hand, it would still be a shame if this allows Pence to pardon him.

Impeaching the wrecker provides a way to disqualify him from ever holding any sort of government office, and this requires only a majority of the Senate.

However, it is not clear to me whether the Senate can do that without first convicting him, and that requires 2/3 of the Senate, which is probably out of reach.

I have an idea for a device that would make it safe for people to eat while in a room with other people.

The idea is to make a sanitizable negative-pressure hood which seals around the head and torso and hands, with a flat torso-mounted table inside in the front. Elastic could hold the seal closed around the body; I think that would be good enough. It could pump air in through a filter and out through a filter.
