That is a distraction. There is no need for production to be so slow. It is slow because of the artificial scarcity created by giving businesses the power to limit production. To squabble over which country gets vaccine this year, since there isn't enough, is to legitimize the artificial scarcity.
Let's resist being distracted. As James Love says, let's make them produce enough vaccine so that we can all get it first!
