Brazil is being accused of hypocrisy for minor forms of surveillance such as following foreign diplomats' cars.

I don't see anything wrong with the practices described here, which are aimed at specific people that there is a specific reason to be suspicious of. It isn't wrong for the US to do this sort of surveillance, either. What makes US surveillance an injustice is that it is massive and general, aimed at all Americans.
