Japan is solving its labor shortage problem by bringing in foreign workers.

They ignore the counterarguments: (1) fewer workers will be needed to educate the fewer children, (2) with automation, and loss of jobs, having fewer people that need jobs may be a good thing, and (3) there are unemployed poor people in other countries.
