Texas schools
samedi 4 septembre 2021 à 02:00*Texas schools are surveilling students online, often without their knowledge.* School-provided computers read students' email.
The article adds "or consent" to the first sentence, but I don't think that consent can excuse a system of massive surveillance.
What if a school finds that a student plans to travel out of state for an abortion. Will that make the school vulnerable to lawsuits by the dozen? Will the school protect itself by reporting her and sticking her with a baby that will keep her poor for life?
