This stinks of an intentional effort to increase surveillance. Europeans, fight this now!

If you don't put as much effort into protecting your freedom as into protecting your immediate health, your effort to "stay safe" is unbalanced!

The bully wants to shield employers from legal responsibility for workers' catching Covid-19 at work. Why would US workers want to sue their employers about this? I see two rational motives.

• Because treatment costs money and they can't afford it. Making treatment gratis for all would eliminate this motive.
• Because they experience working conditions that could encourage contagion. Workers who have no savings and no union will be unable to change such working conditions, except to sue.

I don't expect Republicans to support that.
