Oxford should have published everything and invited companies to make its vaccine. It probably has an excuse for not doing that, but we should call in question the validity of that excuse.

Perhaps we should ask every company that makes a pledge to sign a contract so that it will have to pay enormous damages if it violates the pledge.

The people who chose the plan that inflicted lead poisoning in Flint will not have to pay the damages.

Grandiose plans to plant millions of trees to cite as "carbon offsets" will have trouble finding enough land to put them on. Not just any land will support a forest.

It supports my conclusion that we must reject "offsets" and instead really reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
