Being kept alive

dimanche 10 mars 2019 à 01:00

Should people who want to die be kept alive to please their relatives? I don't think so. I think it is selfish and cruel to prolong the suffering of your relative who finds living horrible. The compassionate thing to do is accept per decision to end per own life.

I think it makes sense to tell those people who are still physically and mentally capable, "Here's a suicide pill, but it's up to you to take it (or not)." If person doesn't take the pill, that shows person is ambivalent about dying.

However, it's a different matter for people lost to dementia, their bodies alive but their minds dead. Their previous orders should be carried out.

I don't eat land animal meat most days, when I am at home, but I would find this diet very painful because of the limits on dairy and sugar. I hope I could trade my avocado for more cheese.

The limits on production of meat and cheese are absolute: population growth would reduce the amount each person could have, and population decrease would increase it.
