Bangladeshi leather workers poisoned
dimanche 26 mars 2017 à 01:00Bangladeshi leather workers have no protection from toxic chemicals; almost everyone that lives in the leather production district dies before age 50.
The practice is protected by business-supremacy treaties, which forbid the richer countries from banning the importation of leather made without safety gear.
The article dwells on the fact that child laborers are among those being poisoned in this way, but I think that is a side issue; it is no more acceptable to do this to adults than to children.
