A picture of me on the Space Station holding a picture of Tim Peake, holding a picture of Andreas Mogensen, holding a picture of Samantha Cristoforetti, holding a picture of Alex Gerst, holding a picture of Luca Parmitano, holding a picture of... From our nomination in 2009 all six of ESA's new astronaut class (we call ourselves "the shenanigans") have flown on the International Space Station… they saved the best till last... ;)
La boucle est bouclée : content d’apporter la touche finale à la tradition des « Shenanigans » (le surnom de la promotion 2009 des astronautes de l’ESA) ! La mise en abyme spatiale a commencé avec la mission de Luca et se termine aujourd’hui avec ma contribution. Dans l’ordre, ça donne : Luca Parmitano en 2013, avec une photo de Tim Peake tenant un cliché d'Andreas Mogensen, Luca et moi dans le bassin où l’on simule des sorties dans l’espace, puis Alex Gerst (2014), Samantha Cristoforetti (2014-2015), Andy (2015), Tim à nouveau, mais dans l’espace cette fois (2016) et… moi.
