longg long long lomng nglong wall of text incoming srry everyone, but I really wish people would stop assuming I’m ignoring them when I’ve said before that I get a shitload of asks each day and can’t really answer all of them, and there’s no way to differentiate between “anons” who send me messages (because they’re…anonymous) so it’s not like I selectively ignore people? ? I can’t tell who’s who when I get around like 20-40 total anonymous messages a day on top of messages from people with accounts depending on how active everyone is so unless I answer all of them at once (which floods the dashboards of people who follow me and annoys them) some of the messages won’t be answered, but it’s not like it’s the end of the world or that I don’t think certain people “deserve” a response it just means I usually don’t have time to answer that many asks and I don’t want to flood everyone’s dashboard with them
and the assumption that anonymous asks are automatically my lowest priority is super rude too because i never said or did anything to imply that, lol just because I didn’t get to your message because my inbox is overflowing or I skipped it because I didn’t have time or didn’t think it was appropriate, doesn’t mean i have some kind of magic radar that determines which anon is which so I can ignore a specific anon and never answer their questions ever aaaaaaaaaaaa please stop jumping to weird conclusions, I’m sorry that I can’t answer every message I get on tumblr, it’s nothing personal, I appreciate every message I get unless it’s gross or something and if I could take a big chunk of time out of every day to answer all of them thoughtfully I would. I have other things to take care of though, and contrary to what a lot of anons who message me seem to think, I don’t really spend that much time on tumblr, at least not nearly as much time as I used to, like, I pop in every once in a while to check my dashboard to see what the people I follow are up to and I reblog some stuff or make a text post or something while I’m working on other things or browsing other sites but it’s not a huge time commitment. some days I’ll browse for like a total of an hour in a day, other days I just check tumblr for like 10 minutes and then go do something else, some days I go all out and stay on for hours if I’m doing something like writing that anime babe story but that doesn’t happen often. So it’s not like I’m on here all day lol
anyway I tried tagging my asks so people could filter them if they don’t want a bunch of asks on their tumblr feed but the add-on I was using for that broke and I don’t really wanna deal with it anymore
like I said before, I think I’m just going to make a separate blog for asks, so people who are super interested in my responses can follow it and I’ll have a much easier time answering as many messages as possible so people don’t feel left out or ignored for some reason
