Republicans want the US government to blind itself about how current and planned facilities will be vulnerable to future global heating effects.

When I saw the new US courthouse in Boston, right on the edge of the water and not very high above it, I thought, "What fools they are to have built it that way. Don't they realize it's likely to be flooded by 2100?" Apparently Republicans will advocate intentional folly rather than acknowledge the facts.
