One of the murderers of Tyre Nichols took photos of his bloody corpse and shared copies for fun.

Some people believe that taking a photo of a corpse does wrong to someone. No one has ever given me a rational explanation of how it could do that.

However, sharing such photos for enjoyment bespeaks an attitude of reveling in violence against strangers. We cannot tolerate such perversion in people to whom we give special powers or license to commit violence.
