The international tribunal ruled against China's claim of most of the sea between China and the Philippines. China said it will not respect the decision.

The reason those two countries, as well as Vietnam, Taiwan and other countries, are so concerned about the issue is that they want the oil that may be under that sea. But if anyone extracts that oil, it will cause global disaster. We need to leave it under the sea where it is.

I suggest resolving the dispute with an agreement to leave the oil untouched. Maybe then it will be possible to resolve the dispute because all the countries won't care so much about which gets which areas.
