New York City Thug Commissioner Bratton has resigned.

Bratton was responsible for very strict policies in New York City, arresting people for small offenses and searching blacks repeatedly on the street. He claimed this was responsible for the decrease in crime of the early 90s, which however occurred all around the US, and was clearly therefore due to other causes, such as the 1970s elimination of lead in gasoline.
