The NSA has worked with companies to introduce weaknesses into commercial encryption software.

If the US government stood for the American people, and this coup had been achieved against enemy governments, I'd congratulate the NSA in principle (and I'd be glad if we did not find out about it). But the US government works for the plutocrats, and the victims of this are us.
