Right-wing governments in the Americas made a joint statement calling on Maduro to step down. The article does not say that the countries named are all right-wing, but that is the case. Brazil, in particular, is now led by a man that seems to aim to outdo Maduro in repression.

Nonetheless, I too am suspicious of Maduro's latest election.
