Australia's latest climate plan would allow some coal mines to increase their coal-burning emissions until 2030 and profit from it.

The Labor government is still much better than the previous constantly dishonest right-wing government, and much better than the US on climate issues, but we can't help being very disappointed by its occasional egregious attacks on hope for the future.
