James Hansen predicts several meters of sea level rise within 50 to 150 years. This is a controversial result, since other reputable climate scientists forecast only one meter.

We don't really need to know the answer, because the implications in either case are the same: we need a crash program to cut CO₂ emissions (and methane emissions), not the lackadaisical approach adopted so far.
