I noticed a couple of people telling you some fruits and veggies are alright to feed your ferrets, but that is absolutely not true. Ferrets are carnivores, so this means you need to be on high alert when finding a good quality food for your ferrets. Wether you feed them ferret food or have to feed them cat food, always check to make sure the food you are feeding them has high levels of protein, no fruits and veggies, and no fillers like corn. A lot of ferret treats you can find are fruit flavoured so you need to be cautious of these and steer clear when you find them. Just because it has a picture of a ferret on it doesn’t mean it’s ferret friendly.

thank you, this is really good advice! I hate it when pet food or supplies mislead people with their packaging by making it seem like it would be okay to give to your pet, it’s really irresponsible and i can’t believe they’re still allowed to sell stuff like that without the proper information @_@
